2023 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Polyamines

Sent on behalf of the Polyamines GRC Chairs:

Dear Colleagues,

This is a last reminder that the 2023 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Polyamines will be held on June 25-30, 2023. The meeting takes place at the picturesque Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire, USA and the full program is now available at https://www.grc.org/polyamines-conference/2023/. All applications are due by May 28 and registration must be paid by June 4, or else your application will be canceled.

We are bit concerned that the number of attendees registered so far is still a bit below what GRC requires (ideally 120). This is likely related to post-pandemic issues, the war and economy, keeping some people away from attending. However, if we are not able to reach the required registration number (110) by June 4, this could have a negative impact on future Polyamines GRCs including the possibility of losing our Waterville Valley conference site, something that we obviously do not want to happen.

You can register here:  https://my.grc.org/event-application/11977. If you have attended a GRC before, you should have a login name and password. If you have not attended a GRC before, you will have to create a new account. The registration fees ($1545 for single room and $1370 for shared room) also includes accommodation for the entire conference duration and three meals/per day.

If you have already registered, consider bringing your students and/or postdocs. Also please spread the word and advertise our conference among your peers and colleagues, for example, by forwarding this email to anyone you think might be interested in joining our GRC. We have put together an exciting, diverse 5-day program with top speakers in the polyamine field and we look forward to seeing you all in Waterville next month!
